Overlooking the village of San Martino in Freddana.
Just 45 minutes from Pisa Airport and 30 minute from the coast at Viareggio.
Alternatively fly into Bergamo or Malpensa airports near Milan. Its a 3 hour drive but you can stop off at lake Garda on the way.
Catch the late flight from Birmingham to Malpensa (Milan) and stay over at Lake Iseo. The money you save on the flights will more than pay for the hotel.
Supermarket, Bank, Post Office, Bakery, Chemist
Situated at the bottom of the hill, St Martin in Freddana has all the facilities that you need on a day to day basis. A fairly large supermarket stock international goods and an extensive range of local produce. There are several other shops including a bakery.
Several Bars and restaurants are scattered through the village and surrounding areas and the Pizza restaurant is happy to do take out.
There is a chemist and doctors surgery close at hand.
